One small step for Logan, One giant Leap for Samantha

Burying my brother in the leaves

Yee-Haw!

Smiling Samantha running hard and Luke on the sidelines. Poor little guy.

Hooray! Luke ventures into the leaves!

Is that a dance move, Logan?

Rebecca is wondering why I stuck her in this dirty pile of leaves. Especially in a white outfit.

Leaves are great for throwing too.

Check out the action in the swing of Samantha's long ponytail!

Samantha belly-flopping into the leaves.

Belly-flopping must be fun because she did it again. And Logan apparently liked it!

Careful, Samantha! Logan might land on you!
Ahh, the joys of a fall day and a fresh pile of leaves!(And yes, I'm just enough of a dork to put every picture we took in this post! Ross did a great job catching the thrill of it all!)
Obviously, Fall fell here in Helena and we decided to take advantage of it! Ross raked up our back yard Friday night and the kids had the best time. Samantha and Logan ran and jumped and jumped and ran over and over! Ross had to re-rake the pile constantly. Luke has unfortunately been sick all week and didn't feel like doing much other than watching, but hopefully we won't get snowed on again before he feels well enough to play the next time we have to rake. We love all the seasons in our world and in our family. Fall is fabulous and our little children are at such a fun stage.
Here's a little video of the fun we had. Samantha is talking about all of us being on a swim team as she "swims" through the leaves.

Okay, so I'm commenting on my own blog. I have no idea why the text is so big. I kept trying to reverse that command, but to no avail. Oh well! And I forgot to comment on how often we mix up Logan's and Luke's names as you hear Ross do on the video! We often have Lu-ogan and Lo-uke in our house!
I can not tell you how often we call Olivia Ella. Initially it got me sorta' sad because I thought maybe we picked the wrong name. Now I realize its just life with more than one child of a certain sex.
Thanks for your comments. Im so glad you keep checking in on us and hope you dont mind if I do the same with your seriously cute family.
I love all the mid-jump shots, you can tell the kids are having a blast. What a fun day.
Ok- so, first I died laughing because Rebeccas little comb over patch of hair on the top of her head KILLS me! Holy cow, she is so cute. Then, I started laughing because samantha was "swimming." She has the best imagination. Then, I laughed and laughed at your husband for calling Logan Luke. I know what he'll say.... "just wait til you have 2!"
It really is the simple things in life that make life so joyful!!! Love you janet! Your family is adorable!
How great is fall! It definitely doesn't get much better than jumping or swimming through a pile of freshly rakes leaves! Those are some really fun pictures and a great video of your cute kids!
I have never had a yard where you raked up a big, huge pile of leaves and played in it. I guess never any big trees. It looks like a blast for you kids, so fun! Your Mitten picture is awesome!
I love all your pictures! your kids are darling! I have to tell you the Parsons came down to visit last week. Justin's Mom had just gotten back from a Anne of Green "Cables" tour in PEI, Canada. She brought Kay-Lynn back this beautiful doll and the 1st book...While here she read the book to Kay-Lynn and I couldn't help but over hear...and I loved it! When they left I thumbed through the book...now I have to rent the movies..I love it...It's only taken ten years! love ya Jan !
