Random Fun from Janet

My sister was blog stalking (isn't that fun?) and found this. So I'm doing it too even though there's so many other things I've been meaning to blog about!
Here's what you do: Type your answers to the following questions into Google images, then post the first image that comes up!

First Name: Janet
When I did a search on Janet, of course Janet Jackson came up, but if you know anything at all about her, you know her pictures are racy and the first one was just that. The second Janet picture was of the character "Janet" in the Rocky Horror Picture Show and was also too suggestive for my taste. SO! This is the first non-Janet Jackson and appropriate picture for my first name. (This lovely lady is apparently part of a group called "Janet David and the Texas Heartaches" which is a self-proclaimed "true" Western Swing band. Yee-Haw!)

Last Name: Wilkins
This is some guy named Maurice Wilkins who, according to the caption, was a "notable" 20th century scientist.

Full Name: Janet Wilkins
I cheated on this one. The first pic was a snapshot of some middle age people and one happened to be Janet Wilkins. I thought this was more interesting. This Janet Wilkins is the 1958 Aldbourne (in the UK) Carnival Queen.

Age I'll be on my next birthday: 32
Also not the first picture. The first one was "Figure 32" in a report on smallpox, so it was icky and sad. The 32 here is the building number for the "Engineers Club" in NYC. Woo-hoo! How exciting.

A place I'd like to visit: Prince Edward Island
Isn't this a pretty shot? If you look at the comments on my last post you'll see that my friend Nissa-Lynn told me her mother-in-law just got back from an Anne of Green Gables tour in PEI. Oh wow! Wouldn't I love to go and do that?! I wanted to go to PEI on my honeymoon, but we were WAY too poor. Someday I'll get there!

My favorite food: Everything!
I can never decide on one absolute favorite when it comes to yummy food, but I am looking forward A LOT to Thanksgiving Dinner in a few weeks! (Also not the first picture, but the first one was something cheesy that just looked like hay. No turkey.)

My Favorite Place: My Bed
Yeah, this is a little embarrassing to admit, but it really is a fave for me. I wrote a poem about in fifth grade and one for my junior English class in high school. Seriously.
(Isn't this bed cool? You can't sleep on it, but kinda fun anyway.)

My Favorite Song: Standing Right Next To Me by Karla Bonoff
Okay, raise your hand if you're surprised that my favorite song isn't by Celine Dion. I know. Me too. But there it is just the same. I've loved this song since high school.

My favorite color: PURPLE!
This wasn't actually the first picture either, but when you do a search on purple it's just random pictures of purple stuff and I figured something showing how much I love purple would be better. I've promised Ross that I won't decorate the whole house in purple, but aside from that I love it most anywhere or on anything!

That was fun! If you decide to do this too, let me know!

Jannie pie- you're my favorite sister. Thanks for doing a post like me. It makes me feel good. You're the best. Also- I miss you and I love you and I wish I could come up and eat thanksgiving with you. I'm pretty sure MT turkey is WAY WAY better than CA turkey. Don't tell Ross.

That's so funny about purple because I had to promise Brent the same thing. I like how you didn't settle on the first pictures. Go with what you like!!!
